EL BAKER
El is an Austin-based artist with an eye for adding whimsy to familiar landscapes.
Initially inspired by road trips across Texas, she has painted everything from Big Bend National Park to Austin's beloved Barton Springs Pool. Now she’s branching out and painting other beautiful regions from the US and making mixed-media collages. Her artistic process is an ever-evolving dance between tradition and innovation, where the essence of landscape painting meets the bold strokes of modernity. She’s known to add photo elements to her work or to cut up a painting and glue it back together in a quirky mosaic. She works from her home studio, flooded with natural light.
Her business has continued to grow since 2019 and her prints are sold on Anthropologie.com and in many supportive small retailers nationwide.
